The Overseas Absentee Voting Registration
Registration is finally over with nearly 140,000 overseas Filipinos signalling their intent to participate in next year's mid-term senatorial elections. Like the first registration in 2003, the post ith the most registrants was the embassy in Hong Kong where 6,322 registered to vote. But unlike the initial list-up, the country with the most number of registrants was the United States of America with 8,626 registrants. Saudi Arabia came a close second with 8,427 registrants.
